Barrier Air has launched a major winter sale, slashing fares to as low as $64 across all its routes — a sharp drop from regular ticket prices, which can go as high as $288.
The airline announced the sale this week, describing it as the perfect opportunity for travellers to secure a weekend escape or a mid-winter break. The sale applies to flights between 6 May 2025 and 31 August 2025.
“Our winter sale is on now, with fares starting at just $64 on select Barrier Air flights across all routes,” the airline confirmed.
While the deal represents a substantial discount, the cheapest seats are limited and largely found on off-peak days or times, so flexibility is key to grabbing the lowest fares.
Tickets purchased under this sale come with specific fare class conditions. They are non-refundable but may be changed before the day of departure for a NZ$50 fee per person, per flight, plus any fare difference to a standard fare. Tickets include a check-in baggage allowance, with full terms and conditions available on the Barrier Air website.
